It is marked Admiralty about the ratchet wheel, the dial facet only contains a serial amount. Mikrolisk has Admiralty as being a trademark of W&D. Looking at my source for this watch I doubt this watch has had any modification. Note which the original case can also be marked Rolex. This is not the primary 7-jewel Rolex that I have heard about.
